At UMCA, our Director is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where children with sensory sensitivities can grow with confidence and reach their full potential. Guided by a passion for empowering children and strengthening families, they work closely with the community to develop meaningful programs, encourage collaboration, and ensure every family feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
With a focus on compassion, innovation, and inclusion, our Director is committed to building opportunities that promote learning, connection, and well-being. Services We Offer

Sensory Zone Drop-In Classes
Families can enjoy open play sessions in our Sensory Zone, where children explore sensory stations, engage in creative arts activities, and build social and motor skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Time: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Ages 3-10 : 11:30 am - 12: 30 pm
Ages 11-18 : 12:40 pm - 2:10 pm

Sensory Curriculum
UMCA brings its sensory-focused creative arts curriculum directly into schools, providing interactive lessons that combine music, movement, art, and sensory play to enhance classroom learning and student engagement. Schools are also invited to visit our Sensory Zone for hands-on field trips that extend the learning experience through immersive sensory exploration and creative expression.

Sensory Saturdays
Held every second Saturday, our Sensory Saturdays bring families together for creative arts, sensory play, and wellness activities designed to support children while caregivers and parents connect through family chats led by experts and provided with community resources. Sensory Saturdays is held at:

Uniquely Us Community Hub
Our Community Hub is a place for children of all abilities to connect, create, learn, and grow together. With a backyard space, a sensory play area, and smartboard, your child can stay cool and have fun during the summer. Please make sure to bring your own snacks and a guardian must be in attendance and actively supervise the children they bring.
